Roots of the Village
You have probably heard the phrase
"It takes a village to raise a child"
but what does it take to raise a village?
How do we build a coalition of "villagers" who are trusted advisers to each other and also responsible, connected, compassionate, and creative mentors for the youth?
With the great success of the intro class I will be running a 4-class series on the topic of "Roots of the Village". In this
series we will look at practices and strategies for creating deeper connection to the 4 Ropes: self, nature, community, and ancestors. We will also learn about the Principles of Peace and the role of the Mentor.
You can expect each class to include a presentation followed with paired sharing and group discussion.
Join us for this thought-provoking, inspiring, and strategy-filled class series!
Come to all 4 or just the ones you can make it to. Please send an email to Kevin at registration@wildnatureproject.com to let him know which classes you will be attending.
Details:
Wednesdays, February 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th
6pm-8pm
Drop-in at any of the 4 classes: $20/class
Sign up for all 4: $15/class, or $60 (you can share this with a family member such as husband and wife alternating classes)
