- Finding dry materials (even when it's been raining)
- Making tinder
- Fire pit design
- Fire structures
- Fire tending
- Lighting with matches, ferro rods, and flint & steel

Fire Craft Level 2:
This workshop will take you through the steps to make your own bowdrill fire-by-friction kit. You will learn about knife and tool use, material selection, bowdrill technique and trouble-shooting, making tinder for lighting fire, and several variations of bowdrill kits and techniques.
There is no prerequisite for this class. You may attend Level 1 first or just sign up for Level 2.
