"While you had the chance to live, did you become your true self?" -Michael Meade
We are nature.
The Immersion is your re-attunement with the elements, the seasons, the earth skills, and the cycles of nature. There is a reason why so many mystics, poets, and teachers ventured into the natural world and found inspiration and guidance. It is a place of connection, clarity, and healing.
The Immersion will show you the way to unlocking this potential around you and within you.
Ignite your inner fire

Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.
The Immersion is one Saturday per month for three seasons, 9-months.
Some of what you will experience includes:
- Fire Craft: fire-by-friction, building & tending, and primitive cooking.
- Wild foods and medicinal plants; salves, teas, foods, & nourishment from the wild.
- Shelter against the elements.
- Wildlife tracking: noticing and interpreting the clues animals leave, tracks & signs, trailing, and sensory awareness.
- Bird Language: attuning to and interpreting the sounds & behaviors of birds that can tell us what is happening beyond our 5 senses.
- Fire walking, intentions, and leaning into fear. (actual fire walking, not a metaphor there!)
- Attuning to and trusting your 5 senses, your body sensations, and beyond.
- Pausing, attentiveness, and stillness.
- Attuning to your inner-warrior as a protector of life.
- Blending into nature and moving silently.
- Forest Fit: natural movement exercises for mobility and flow.
- Telling & refining your stories and catching the stories of others.
- Earth skills; crafting, finding sustenance, confidence, comfort, & peace in nature.
- Mythology as a reflection of our lives and insight into our struggles.
- Peacemaking within your relationships & yourself. (an essential survival skill!)
- Navigation in the natural world and through life.
Do you hear the call?

How are the days spent during the classes?
At times we'll be simply sitting around a campfire crafting a project and talking about things that matter.
In the next moment we may be going off-trail in search of materials or mysteries.
In the next moment we may be going off-trail in search of materials or mysteries.
Each class will include lessons, skills, and crafts that will be taught through hands-on experiential exercises, activities, discussions, and stories. We will explore the natural world and learn beyond just the names of things. There will be a blend of physical hands-on skills and crafts with internal awareness, attention, and discussion. You will have a choice to sit out on anything that we are doing. The day will wrap up by 9pm when you can go straight home or stick around and camp out on-site for some extra nature-immersion. In between classes you can choose to participate in some optional activities and challenges at your own pace to deepen your skills, comfort, knowledge, and connection with nature.
Go where you feel the most alive.
We will gather one Saturday each month for 9-months from September-May, 2024-25.
