After-Camp Program Leader
Our outdoor day camps run from 9am to 2pm each weekday and we are seeking a Program Leader for the after-care class from 2-4:30pm. This person would need to show up 15-minutes early and be ready to stay 15-minutes late (paid) so 1:45-4:45pm. Depending on group size you may be alone or with one other assistant. Camp instructors will be nearby and reachable in case of emergency. We will also provide some training and orientation to our land and available resources including game/activity ideas.

Wild Nature Project land on Bloomington's north side. We have a great location with lawn, forests, fields, and creeks. There's also a large shelter house in case of rain.
Compensation:
$12-$18/hour depending on age and experience

Applicant Requirements:
- Have your own transportation to and from our location
- You love working/playing with kids
- You are energetic and outgoing
- You enjoy the outdoors and nature (it's okay if you don't "know much")
- You are 16 years old or older
- You can pass a Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities include:
- Leading games and activities
- Greeting parents as they arrive and making sure kids are ready to go by 4pm
- Looking out for safety of the group (physical and emotional)
- You know how to set clear boundaries for behavior or are eager to learn how
- Showing up prepared with some activities and games in mind (nothing too complex as the kids may be a bit tired after 5 hours of camp already)
- Ability to work alone with a small group of kids. Kid group-size may be between 5-9 kids (our camp instructors are nearby and available to assist in case of emergency)
