Gift yourself an experience that lasts a lifetime


Sometimes our lives can get so busy that we forget to take a moment to breathe and notice what’s going on around us. Work, parenting, and schedules seldom leave time for nourishing our soul.

Participants in this class will know that once a month they’ll be going on a guided camping excursion with a fun group of people.

Nature will provide our class materials and influence the day’s curriculum.

Your skills and confidence in the wilderness will grow. Your sense of adventure and your “wild within” will be fed.

Join us for this Springtime journey into the relationship between humans and the natural world.
Skills that we could explore (based on class interest and available resources) include...

  • Camping skills and gear
  • Fire building and lighting using modern and primitive techniques
  • Navigation skills
  • Reducing your disturbance in the forest so you see more wildlife
  • Wildlife behavior and tracking skills
  • Forest ecology
  • Wild edible plants and trees
  • Medicinal plants and trees
  • Basketry and containers from wild harvested materials
  • Sensory awareness and quieting the mind
1-weekend each month, 1pm Saturday-11am Sunday

March 4th
April 8th
May 6th

All 3 classes (best & recommended experience):
$300/person, $550/couple (romantic couple, not just a bestie)

Per individual class: $115/person

Locations: we will meet at different locations in Monroe, Brown, or Morgan counties. The exact location for each weekend will be determined given the expected weather conditions.
