Caving Adventure Days! Join us for an unforgettable trip into one of our local Southern Indiana Caves! You will leave enlivened and amazed at the wonderous beauty that exists below our feet. Discover dark light creatures like special salamanders, see up close the stalagmites, stalagtites, and flow stones, feel the cool waters and pure clays that are found deep within the cave! These Cave trips are an opportunity to be lead through a cave in a safe way, where everyone leaves feeling great! |
Program Details
When: July 11th, 9am-4pm
Who: ages 10+ This trip is mildly physically demanding, you must be able to comfortably walk a few miles, crouch to duck under rocks, and crawl very short distances. How: We will meet at WNP property, then carpool to the cave together. *limit 12 people |
Gear ListYou must have every item on this list in order to participate.
-Hard hat (bike helmet, construction hat, etc) -3 different types of light (head lamp, extra flash light, glow stick) -extra batteries -extra change of clothes for after trip -wear clothes and shoes you can get wet and muddy -lunch -snacks -water bottle (minimum 2 liters) -small plastic jar with lid -toilet paper -knee and/or elbow pads (optional) -small back pack or waist bag to carry items in while caving, something that allows you to be hands-free |
